Day 15: Trust | Freedom & Flow 2025
My pastor recently shared a distinction between facts and truth that has stayed with me over the past few weeks. Facts need to be proven, and they can change—what was once certain can later be disproven. But truth, like the truths we find in God’s Word, is unshakable. Truth is truth yesterday, today, and forever.
Today, I’m holding onto this truth: God is faithful, and we can trust Him completely.
Trust isn’t easy, especially when the future feels unclear or the world around us feels unstable. But we’ve navigated uncertain times before and come out stronger. Those seasons teach us to lean further into God and press deeper into His promises. When we trust Him, we exchange fear for peace, worry for hope, and questions for the assurance that He is in control, even when life doesn’t feel like it.
God’s Word reminds us that He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). He is unchanging, sovereign, and steadfast. Trusting Him doesn’t mean we won’t face challenges, it means we won’t face challenges alone.
Today, I encourage you to lean into trust. Trust Him with your fears, your hopes, your plans, and even the things you can’t yet understand. Trust that He’s working in ways you cannot see. Trust that His plans are good.
Take a moment to reflect. Where are you struggling to trust God right now? How can you surrender those fears to Him?
